Planning for the Highest and Best Uses

Lobo Development corporation seeks to advance the planning of UNM’s existing properties, UNM currently owns undeveloped land on the North, Central, and South Campuses as well as in the newly created Mesa Del Sol Development. LDC’s goal for the planning of the properties is to design several options for each particular property in order to generate interest for future development on these properties. These designs seek to find the highest and best uses for the land while improving the quality of campus and community life, generating income for the University, and creating mutually beneficial products and services to advance the core mission of the University.

Current Projects

Lobo Development Corporation over the past few years has been actively generating plans for UNM’s properties. Several properties are in the preliminary stages of development with approved plans. Other properties have undergone development and are now areas of new student housing.
